The new release, Version 7.0, boasts features to help laboratories handle data in a way that facilitates compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.

GRAMS/AI version 7 provides system log-ins and passwords, electronic signatures, comprehensive audit logging and automatic detection of data tampering. Additionally, the software works with the security model provided by Windows NT and Windows 2000. Proper use of GRAMS/AI version 7 implements comprehensive audit logging, system security and data security, which are all vital to complying with 21 CFR Part 11.

The software has a complete library of data processing routines and the ability to automatically read and open data files from over 150 different analytical instruments. GRAMS/AI version 7 is compatible with Thermo LabSystems' new data archiving solution, eRecordManager™. eRecordManager securely archives data for retrieval in both the short and long term, providing tools necessary for 21 CFR 11 compliance at the enterprise level.
